This dog has been found and not claimed near Hemyock, Devon. Can't tell what size it is, but after a year, with fur grown out, I wondered whether it could possibly be Bessie. Best wishes

Bur48 - Bessie is described as having a full tail - not sure that 471/21/3 does.

Only aware of Bessie yesterday (and the other one which doesn't seem to be here). If Bessie went missing on the coast path on the cliff top, she may have ventured into the wooded area, (Tidna Valley) after Hawkers Hut where the footpath goes through the wood and then veres off left and up to the Bush Inn in Morwenstow. There would be water there but it would be very confusing for her. I have had a drive down there as only just up the road, but no sign in the fields that I could see, and I notice there are no posters anywhere there either. The Bush Inn and the Rectory Tea Rooms would be good places, also the Church notice board.
If it is thought she would be down on the beech, perhaps a walk back from Sandymouth at low tide would be worth a try. There is no access from Morwenstow.

I have added Bessie at owners request as she was having difficulty. Have yet to obtain a contact number, so initially added Dogost admin. Has been shared to DogLost Cornwall Fb page & local pages too.
Vets & Dog warden informed & owner advised.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (142009)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
