could this be Harper - 2020-02-06 18:27 Sandra Watt
- Harper's owner has issued a very long statement regarding what probably happened to Harper on the day she went missing. It is thought that she was likely shot by a neighbour who was out shooting foxes at the time and Harper was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. - Faithsmum - wish it could but unfortunately police won't issue crime reference and status cannot be changed to Stolen without it. Owners have great support, there have been local searches, lots of leaflets drops and postering, and supporters are checking internet sites. Unfortunately, no new leads :(

- Shouldn't the status be changed to Stolen ?

- Latest update from OP via Help Find Harper:
"POSSIBLE SIGHTING!
Hi everyone, been a possible sighting of Harper tonight at 0700pm. Seen running down a track heading to new Lanark. Which is a walking route I used to take her one
We have been out searching the area with the dogs and touches to try and see her without any luck
Please if use are walking your dogs this weekend if anyone could go walking down that area it would be greatly appreciated
Unfortunately a dog walker when we were looking informed us there was a strange car looking around lingering around 15 minutes before the phone call
Plus point is that it’s close to home and hopeful she may return if she has been dumped in that area.
Please please keep your a look out.

- From Harper's facebook page "Hi Everyone, Lanark police won’t allow me to report Harper as stolen and have failed to let me give them any details. So I am turning to social media to try and help as much as possible.
Last night at 8pm Harper was out for the toilet as we always do. Living on a farm cottage the garden is not secure but in the 7 month of having Harper she has never left or wander off before as she is scared of anything that moves.
There has been a sighting of a white transit van (large) coming down the road into robbiesland at around 7.45. Unfortunately we don’t have a registration. Post code for property is ML119TB where Harper has been taken from. We strongly believe she has been taken as she is a pure cocker spaniel bitch and she has never ever done anything like this before. Please if anyone has any details or knows the whereabouts of a white van in strange locals of Lanark last night please can you get in touch as police are not willing to check any cctv around Lanark.
PLEASE BEGGING EVERYONE.
she’s a dog that won’t cope well being away from home and everyone she knows"Last edited: 2019-03-29 15:31:51 by Alison - 2019-03-29 14:30 Sandra Watt
