- sky was found at 6.30am near a field where i normally walk her closer to home.i think maybe she had been hiding and to scared to come out when her name was called, and eventually started to make her way home. If sky went missing again,(and i'm praying she won't!)i would thoroughly check all the undergrowth and hedges. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Terrific news that this girl is home now. What a pretty girl she is too. Perhaps she could get a microchip as a welcome home present. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Forgot to mention please do scenting in the area you last saw her about 500mtrs in each direction (sa star shape) with diluted urine, socks that sort of thing and leave food such as pilcahrds and check that area daily but dont take your eye off the DW etc as she may have picked up ,untill you get a sighting. GOOD LUCK

- Sky went missing whilst on a walk.there was a clap of thunder and she just took off.It is so unlike her as she always likes to be close and in sight of you.She is very freindly and has been brought up around children, but she is obviously very scared.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sky's poster printed and will be entered into Doglost Folder at Vet's Surgery tomorrow, TA8 Somerset. Owner don't forget to contact Bath cats and dogs home, also any other animal sanctuary near to where Sky went missing. Also notify your local Dog Warden/s. Good luck in finding Sky.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- OWNER< Inform local dog warden first and foremost .You will find them at the council offices. Posters (In plastic folders) need to be put up in the area where your dog went missing, or where there have been sightings - on lamposts, entrances to parks and strategic places in parks, like at the start and finish of tracks and paths, at vets, petshops, carry-out food shops, local shops who often allow postcards in the window, supermarkets who have notice board, community centres, schools etc. You can ask the postman, milkman, binmen (even put poster on bins). You can ask school bus drivers and kids on the bus, or if you have kids on the bus, get them to hand out flyers at school. Deliver flyers to houses & pop through letterboxes . Hand out flyers to people in the street, especially dog walkers. Put posters or flyers in car windows. Rescue centres and kennels, also police offices need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows the dog, because your dog or it's breed may not be recognised by other people. Also police are sometimes too busy to deal with it. Get some media coverage if you can, by asking the local radio station to broadcast her as missing and put an ad in the local newspaper with a picture of her. Postering is the best way to get her back.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
