- It might be worthwhile having a fryup on a bbq, smelly bacon or sausages, as he would smell that from quite a distance away and he will be getting hungry by now.

He might be hiding scared under parked vehicles or hedgerows or a local park - he will probably be drawn towards a water source as he will be thirsty before hungry. If not already done so, can someone stay close to the scene of the accident to monitor, & an unwashed, smelly, item of clothing of the person with whom he has the most bond , left in a safe place for Him to scent back to. ( & a laminated Poster nearby to ask for the clothing NOT to be removed ) .
