I have contacted person who reported barking this is the reply
Sorry someone tag me into found so presumed that owner was found it sorry so looks like no one has come forward rang RSPCA but said they had no resources to go out to search I don't know if dog is still trapped down hole

email from person who heard the dog....Wow thankyou so much for reacting so quickly after I reported hearing a dog in under growth so pleased it's been reunited to its owner.
I was very disappointed with the RSPCA as they said they didn't have the resources to come out to search but amazed how quickly you responded well done and many thanks Nicolette

Went for a walk over Gibet Hindhead Surrey I heard like a terrier dog barking in under growth right next to the sailor stone I heard it twice I did whistle and call not sure what to do sounds like it's stuck in rabbit hole

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
