I had a sleepless night worrying about this poor doggy, a big thanks to everyone involved in saving him from being pts, he now deserves some happiness and T.L.C.

Ah Thankgoodness this dear dog id not going to be PTS today. Im sure a greart home will turn up for this boy.

I cried when I saw this :-(( Poor boy !   I'm sure he will get a loving home. I'm just not convinced about fact it might NOT be the owners. There ARE people who are willing to pay ?10 to psychos to "do the deed" after they are no longer of use on the track.   I remember only too well Rusty on Greyhound Action website Sorry !  I am standing down from my soap box now. I just hope this little man gets a loving home and is spoilt rotten from now on bless him - he so deserves it.

You poor little lad. Not only emaciated, but also a BULLET wound. There are some evil people in this world. Hope your owners find you soon, or failing that, I am sure that you will find a very good loving home. These Greyhound Rescues do an excellent job in rehoming these poor unfortunate souls.

Thanks everyone! Have just spoken to Kevin and others who have offered to help and the warden has rung to say Lisa from Greyhound gap has arranged for a rescue to pay the fees for vets treatment and a foster home has been found. The lucky lad has a new chance-photo should be on site shortly- he must have an owner out there somewhere.

Ive now left Sandra a message and spoken to Kevin who is seeing someone tonight from the greyhound trust and they will see what they can do. Also gave Kevin Jaynes number.

Theres a local guy who rehome greyhounds on 01473 420232 named Kevin, could someone try him hes very good. Also Clarkes farm greyhound rescue 01473 273165 name Sandra. Hope this helps the poor dog and hes not put to sleep.

Have left a message with Greyhound Gap as this dog will have to be put to sleep on Friday if owner/rescue place not found.

Poor soul, but someone must be missing you if you've recently had surgery on a hip - not an inexpensive vets trip for that. Sending positive thoughts for your recovery and hope that your owners are traced.
