- Katyross, just wondered if there had been any news about Olive? Any sightings at all? Is she back home yet?
- 2019-05-16 23:22 Carolynl
- Just wondering if too late (timewise), to think about a scent dog/tracker dog? x

- KatyRoss pls see this mini dachy for sale -I came across it by accident and thought of Olive when I saw the white chest - this one has the white on chest, I can't tell whether this looks like Olive or not, pls consult with admin at DogLost of you think this could be her, you'd want to visit without arousing suspicion and go with someone who has a scanner if you went along to view. - Katyross...is there anything else I can do to help? Does Olive have a F/B page?
Hope she's back and home safe very soon x - 2019-04-11 11:04 Carolynl
- Shared to Catley Cross vets now also. Apologies if already covered...good response from Maplestead Kennels who were already on the ball. Please check any badger setts or other animal holes, under hedges, in ditches..as it's rural area...or someone's shed/garage as read about one dog found in shed, on here a few days ago! Also wondered whether a drone may be helpful, or if anyone has been in touch about one. Is it drone SAR to get in touch with? Sorry, not on drone sites...but could try? Don't want to stand on anyone's toes if already in hand..it's just miniatures are quite small, and if my standards are anything to go by, they have been known to squeeze in places.
Have also asked for people to look out along the Hedingham road and Halstead road. When I finish work will see if there's any dog walker or club sites locally if not already done so - trying not to double up though if sites already approached.Last edited: 2019-04-11 11:04:49 by Carolynl - 2019-04-10 18:58 JEAN

- From one dachsie house to another...hope Olive is found safe and well soon. I will share to dachsie sites, also to local sites. I know the area well, as grew up around there. My mum still lives in Wickham St Paul, almost the next village along so I'll share to their page also, and have friends still in area. If I can help in any other way - please let me know. Or if any searches arranged. I'm currently just over border in CO10 (no alert though - unless different area of CO10 alerted?) Have my own dachsies so am familiar with breed if that's of any help? - Sorry to see that OLIVE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (142425)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
