- Thanks Mark for the update. Great to see Rosie is now safely home, did try to ring Lisa earlier but do not get a good signal on my mobile at home and it cut out. Thanks to everyone who has helped owners in their search, good luck and have a happy future with Rosie. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I am a volunteer for GRWE and we have been out searching for Rosie. i have spoken to the owner and Rosie was found by a lady on the tow path on Thursday she was taken by the dog warden to their holding kennels and they were reunited today. When i spoke to Rosie's mum she was fast asleep after having a meal and something to drink. She would like to thank all those who helped to look for Rosie. ThanksLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Firstly inform the Dog warden who can be found at your council offices. Posters (In plastic folders) need to be put up in the area where Rosie went missing, or where there have been sightings - on lamposts, entrances to parks and strategic places in parks, like at the start and finish of tracks and paths, at vets, petshops, carry-out food shops, local shops who often allow postcards in the window, supermarkets who have notice board, community centres, schools etc. You can ask the postman, milkman, binmen (even put poster on bins). You can ask school bus drivers and kids on the bus, or if you have kids on the bus, get them to hand out flyers at school. Deliver flyers to houses & pop through letterboxes . Hand out flyers to people in the street, especially dog walkers. Put posters or flyers in car windows. Rescue centres and kennels, also police offices need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows the dog, because your dog or it's breed may not be recognised by other people. Also police are sometimes too busy to deal with it. Get some media coverage if you can, by asking the local radio station to broadcast Rosie as missing and put an ad in the local newspaper with a picture of her. Good news that there have been sightings and she is chipped. Good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Poor Rosie. Best advice is to print off the poster from this site and poster everywhere locally and especially where Rosie has been sighted. The power of the poster has been proved to work, hopefully someone will see her and get in touch with you. Also get in touch with your local dog warden and check local rescue centres on a regular basis. Good that she is chipped. Good luck in your search and keep safe, Rosie xx

- Rosie has been the beloved and constant companion of a friend of mine who is without internet access and transport. Rosie is a rescued greyhound, who, at her young age, was found abandoned after her money-earning career as a racedog came to an end, as is common with these dogs. Rosie's new owner has loved and cared for her for almost a year now, and is devastated by this unfortunate and silly accident involving a broken lock on a gate, which has led to her disappearance. Rosie is a nervous, gentle animal, and, it would seem, became too panicked when she wandered out of her new backyard to find her way home. Although she has been sighted in several places as far away as Winsford, no new information has been received today. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE SO APPRECIATED. Message from jennyhates jazz that appears on duplicate dog that is now deleted. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
