We experienced absolutely every challenge possible in that park!!! ...every night at Blaise Castle, feeding, monitoring and trying our hardest to will Zena to eat from the back of her cage! ...we were on Mark 3 cage ...too small, too long and then just right! We went through several cams, a ring, tons of cable ties, thermal scope, countless trap food, sausages, meat balls and butchers tripe ....dealt with drunks...the good bad and the ugly, saboteurs, stolen cams, massive kid parties in the park, more drunks, smashed bottles, threats , our nutter, and folk who meant well but wanted to nose with their dogs whilst the trap was set sending us running to their rescue....we’ve trapped many a fox and the odd cocker spanielπŸ˜‚ ...but we are over the moon because we finally trapped our little minx ....Zena is now safely in rehab with her owner Denise.
A heartfelt Thankyou to everyone who believed in us and who helped in those early days when Zena decided to go on walkabout on 10 April. Thankyou for your support and faith. Zena is now safe and making good progress. As for we girls ...,I think we will miss the many characters of Blaise Castle πŸΎπŸ’•♥οΈπŸ’•πŸΎ

URGENT: Admin, please send alerts to volunteers in BS10 - I've emailed the school with a poster and asked them to let school community know about her, not to chase or call her and to ring number on poster. Hope this is ok x

INFO FROM FACEBOOK THIS MORNING! - SIGHTING HENBURY BS10 - Sherlock I am not sure who you are on Facebook - are you aware of the one? It's only 8 miles from Noah's ark Farm, it MUST be her? "Possible sighting Henbury School this is miles away but we all know how far she’ll travel please keep ur eye peeled for her in the location with the loud music and fire work last nite did this push her away from clevedon pill Leigh woods area" - please can anyone in this area - Henbury, Bristol BS10 share her poster and details with all the usual DO NOT CALL OR CHASE - sightings only please. Poor love she must be so exhausted and terrified. please anyone who can, help share for this one xLast edited: 2019-05-23 12:22:49 by .

PS Sherlock, have you had any appeals in local papers? If not maybe I could try and help with that too, I feel like Zena really deserves the best shot at being found! She sounds like such a little fighter, it broke my heart to think of her swimming the Avon 3 times and being stuck on a cliff ledge for 5 days. There was a dog stranded on a mountain recently and they rescued that one from the air. He was very lucky. Paws crossed for this gorgeous little trooper. Stay safe Zena. Help is coming x
.
Hi Sherlock, sounds great, I have started making a list of farms and caravan parks too, just getting all the email addresses. I'll use the info you have given, and DogLost poster if that's the preferred one? Is it worth updating the info on it with all the recent sighting info, as it's got the April info in there at mo. Let me know and I will get cracking. There are 111 on my list!. I will make a list of who I have written to. Am contemplating posting a poster if I can't find email addresses but that may get a bit pricey! By the way have you used this free service for posters? https://www.dropbox.com/s/twb3sxo5citjz1i/Screenshot%202019-05-23%2010.19.15.png?dl=0 They will print 50 free of charge and post them to you free of charge too. If I end up mailing out I might make use of this service as my printer is not working at mo!.I'll wait to check if you want to update the current poster before I start emailing. Best wishes, EmmaLast edited: 2019-05-23 10:39:49 by .

That’s great Thankyou 😊😊....yes we are a small trapping team who are trying to keep up with her walkabout and we have cams monitoring strategic areas as and when we get a sighting trying to get a step ahead....important that anyone who sights her to give us the date, time, direction she came from and heading ....she is wearing a blue/green tartan collar with metal tag and will look a bit scruffy now!
.
Hi Sherlock, I can get onto this (contacting farms) first thing in the morning. I’ll email the poster and explain not to call or chase her if she’s seen but to call either number above straight away. Is there a trapping team? I know there was talk of a trap further down the thread back in April, I’m just checking whether there is still people who could be on the ground quickly for her if needed? wish I was closer! I’m not a tracker but I’d be helping with posters etc! anyway I’ll support you as best I can, have had a lot of shares on twitter - with any luck maybe we’ll reach new people/ create new eyes / awareness in the right places to help word come through when she next pops her little nose out. paws crossed, stay safe now Zena, best wishes, Emma Last edited: 2019-05-22 23:38:27 by .

That would be great as we need all the farming community between Clevedon through to Failand on alert 😍

Any chance of a bump or reshare to BS21 area as zena has a new sighting that seems could very well be our illusive doggy For just over a week we haven’t seen her so seems doable. and an early 4.30am sighting of collared tagged tan dog at that!😜

Have bumped zena today after a day of watching her swim comfortably but dangerously over the tidal river. And to alert she could be north /home side of river again. Both sides are still if interest unless a second sighting of dog comes from sea mills.
DogLostKatieF - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset
So. Zena was stuck on a cliff bank on the wooded side of ham green. Sadly the fire brigade and ropes rescue service decided to join her without boat support and as I predicted and voiced, she jumped into the water. This amazing girl swam safely to the opposite bank and paraded banksidr for us to locate quickly until she found her original crossing point and swam back over to ham green :(
We returned to place cameras food and shortly after in the evening received a sighting on the cycle track way over near Leigh court.
Alas we also had a sighting ( possible) on the sea mills side from a commuter on a bus in the park area Trymside and Sea mills lane. Was only a sighting from distance in a park so need local help to discount if local dog or possibly Zena!!!

Someone has just posted on the Bristol Lost and Found Pets Page that there is a dog on the bank of the river on the Portway on the Pill side. Too far away to tell but looks like a small golden dog from a distance.
DogLostSherlock- Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - Avon & South Gloucestersh
Sadly Zena has moved from her once safe place near Ham Green /Pill and we now need to hope she is spotted by a volunteer or member of the public. Please poster far and wide beyond Pill and continue to share on social media. If sighted do not chase as she will bolt again....ring Denise with sighting time and direction heading. Pray she reappears again very soon πŸ™πŸΎ
DogLostKatieF - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset
Our Somerset trap is up with Denise in sea mills. The volunteers who were tracking are sadly now on holiday. I’ve joined a chat with rescue and them to try help.
