- I know it has been some time and this is the other end of the country, but reported in South Coast leader newspaper today 29/9/11 - Two dogs rescued by Lewes council in East Sussex – one is a Saluki-Lurcher. No descriptions or gender given. Seaford dog rescue have carried out a health check and rehomed.

- Battersea Dogs Home site has a cross lurcher (she looks cross retriever/lurcher) on their web site on page 13. The dog on the site is known as Summer.

- On dog found there is a lurcher that looks like a Saluki it is REF 14161 I know it is a long way off but if it was stolen by Travellers it might be the same dog. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Spoken to Mandy this evening who is Sally's owners daughter. Requested photo's to be emailed across to admin@doglost.co.uk - Sally has quite a distinctive scar across her shoulders and back. The vet doesn't believe this fur will grow back. Sally's owners didn't have her for long before she was stolen so unknown how she got the scar. Mandy states Sally is more Saluki looking than Lurcher and has the feathered ears and tail. DH's, DW's in the local area are aware of Sally although they do not have a poster - just a description and owner's contact details. I have advised that once we receive a photo for owner to take to all sanctuaries, vets etc in the area. Unfortunately I'm in Manchester and can't help with postering but if someone in the area is closer, help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Vicki Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
