So glad to hear that Maisie is home and safe. Just makes you think how the hell she got from Claygate to Swindon. She must have been taken whilst on her walk. Keep safe little girl xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Maisie is home safe and well tonight. Thank you to all the people in Swindon who helped bring Maisie home safely. In the end she didn’t need to be trapped, eventually coming to her owner.
.
I had to read this twice and then pinch myself HARD! Wow, what incredible news! I’m so pleased to hear that Maisie has finally been trapped, but Swindon?! How on earth - well done to all involved in getting her to safety, great team work . Hope she is ok 🐾

Another possible sighting reported 5 hours ago on Surrey Dog Owners page "SPOTTED A COLLIE TYPE DOG ON CLAY LANE. Black with white stripe on chest. Clay lane in bellfields, Guildford. Dog stopped, tried to call it over but ran off due to another car. Couldn’t see where to as was behind car"Last edited: 2019-04-24 08:14:14 by Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London

Thanks for letting me know. There haven’t been any sightings at all locally so may have to widen search towards Guildford way.

From sighter of dog in Burpham, re whether or not could be Maisie: it was definitely similar to this one, but i didn’t notice a pink collar. I’m afraid I was driving so I couldn’t get a really good look

Posted on Guildford Town Past and Present FB 8am this morning: I’ve just seen a black dog looking a bit scared on its own on Clay Lane at Jacobs Well near Safeguard if anyone has lost a dog. Not sure the breed but possibly a black Collie with small patches of white. Clay Lane, Burpham Guildford.

I've posted Maisie's details and asked sighter to check.

It's roughly 15 miles away from where Maisie lost,so probably not, but not impossible.Last edited: 2019-04-23 20:27:13 by csquaredb
