Worth noting, just popped down to remove some of the posters I had pinned up, the ones I didn't get time to on Sunday, only to find they had been ripped down, one was on the floor, the other two just gone, leaving just the corners pinned up.
My point is, just because one has put some signs up for people to read, doesn't mean they won't be ripped down by the less caring of society.

Yes indeed he his, rather stiff this morning after his camping out adventure, it was horse riders that found him, made much easier by having our phone number on his collar tag.
We are very lucky, we wouldn't have found him on foot as I would never have guessed he would have covered that distance, let alone through a lot of thick bramble vegetation, just goes to show, dogs can still surprise you with what they can achieve, even after 15 years!

Cripes - brilliant that he was found in all that woodland!

I guess he's feeling better then... ☺☺Last edited: 2019-04-29 05:46:25 by Administrator

So were we Jenny,he has just recovered from vestibular disease and survived,so he is quite disorientated and wobbly still,we honestly are the happiest people on Earth right now!

Also to John, your guide was spot on, it said about dogs following scents on the wind, well we had a strong west wind yesterday, that's exactly where he went. Thank you for the link.

Thank you for the advise John, much appreciated. Lilybear, the tree has now been moved, late last night my son and I shifted enough of it for passing cars.
Posters now put up around Sandy Lane & Chittoe.

An intensive ground search of his and neighbouring properties/areas needs to be carried out. Most elderly dogs are found nearby. Assume that he's curled up on the ground. If trapped, dogs instinctively know that they are vulnerable and will remain silent even if their owner walks right by.

So sorry Bo still missing. Bo's home the Spye/Chittoe side of Sandy Lane (A342), there is a tree down in Chittoe woods preventing vehicle access so was unable to make good check in dark, if anyone walking in this popular spot today please keep eye out for Bo.
POMPOM
Thank you for the extra alerts, been searching since 545am and still no sign.
