- So pleased the dog that was handed in to the vets is Margot. One of our Border Collies had a chip migrate to his elbow too. It makes you wonder just how many dogs with microchips are missed when scanned as they just scan over the shoulders. I had to keep insisting to the vets that there was a microchip as they kept saying he wasn't chipped when obviously I knew he was. They did wider scans and hey ho. I think the whole of the upper bodies should be scanned just to be safe. Luckily our boy didn't go missing but if he had we may never have recovered him. Tragic. Stay safe now Margot xx

- Margot is now home safe and sound. Margot is Microchipped but for some reason Vets and Dog Warden didn't locate it. Owners had to do a 3 hour journey to collect her from stray kennels. Microchip was found in her elbow when owner collected Margot x

- I am in contact with owner and passed contact details for Dog Warden and stray kennels. Hopefully the found dog is Margot.Margot is microchipped the found one says no chip x
