Try to get some media coverage. Local radio and local news on TV. This is a story which may very well interest them. Perhaps national papers like the Sun and the Mirror might take the story too.It is worth asking  for help from them.  I hope she is found soon. As if it is not bad enough without losing Babi. She is such a pretty girl. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to see you have not found Babi yet. Do please check all rescue centres regularly, in person if possible in case she has been handed inLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lyaboo, not everyone buys a paper, if someone bothered enough to get her safely away from the scene they probably either still have her or have handed her into the authorities/rescue. What a shame the police didn't take the details of the people who took her. Keep her as high profile as you can. Glad to hear that her owner is recovering. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thanks all turns out she was put in a passer bye car at the scene, who tried a couple of times to hand her to police, we have had quite a big article in local papers, to no avail and are now assuming she has gone, her owner is recovering slowly, but missing her dreadfully, as are we, including my autistic daughter, so i s hard all roundLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I agree with Angus. Keep checking around the accident spot as that is the last place she saw you. She could still be hiding in the area too scared to venture out except at dawn and dusk. Hope you find her soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh no not another dreadful accident, I hope that the owner is on the road to recovery - you must get the local press involved on this one to give you as much help as possible - if you do not have a picture of Babi then please see if you can find a picture of a similar dog by on the net and using that so that people know what to look out of. Babi may well go back to the scene of the accident when it is quiet so please have someone check the area out at dusk and dawn if this is safe to do. Make sure that the local dogwarden is informed and as many other people as you can, Taxi companies, bus drivers, fast food outlets, milkmen and postmen, school children - you can get the schools monday/tuesday before they break up for summer.Good luck with your search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lyaboo sorry to see Babi is missing, great you have supplied us with a picture.  Please do leave an update on the circumstances by selecting Add a Comment next to the blue cross just above other comments, to print posters, once logged in select Dog Poster 1 above Other Information and you will find vets in the area and surrounding area by using the logo Find any UK Vet which flashes up underneath the Latest Missing photo.  Someone may have picked her up and once they see a poster you will be contacted, good luck.   Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
