Micky
This is a comment from the owners facebook page Daisy has been missing for nearly 2 years. I have had a call today of possible regular sightings over the entire
period she's been gone. Apparently, a dog very similar to Daisy has been regularly seen on the canal footpath
between New Mills and Whaley Bridge. She has been spotted at various places along the canal, sometimes
following people, but always on her own. One regular sighting is of her going off the canal, onto the footpath
leading up into the hills, by the water plant. The most recent sighting by the caller was about 2 weeks ago, &, on
that occasion, she was heading to Buxworth. The caller also mentioned that some of their sightings had been at
8pm at night, so it's possible she's coming out after dark. She is chipped, so if found & caught, a vet will be able
to confirm the dog is Daisy. She's registered at Knox and Devlin.
If you see her, please contact us immediately on 01663 719534 or 07701 034856. If you can catch her, please do,
but, at this point, I expect her to be feral & easily spooked, so may well be best observing from a distance.
