- Reunited photo added. One very happy family reunited with a stinky dirty Sam but he appears to be fine!
A lovely lady had spotted posters this morning and then saw him in her back garden that overlooks the bay. She quickly called Sam's owners who arrived with their other dogs who coaxed him to them 🙂
Welcome home Sam , was lovely to meet you and your family xx - 2019-05-12 16:35 menaviana

- Thank you Poochpal and Jayne. No news at all tonight sadly. Sam was struck by a car on Sandy Lane (Moorland Way end) and is thought to have run into the entrance to Lytchett Bay heathland. Family and friends have been searching all afternoon and evening. They live nearby and Sam is walked there often so would know his way home. Hopefully he may find his way home overnight.
We've not long got home from walking the woods around the bay, met with his owners and suggested posters go out asap in case he has already been picked up or sighted.
He is chipped and details up to date but as escaped from home and didnt have his harness on wont have a tag or collar. I have messaged the vets in nearby Moorland Way and Emergency Vet Care to where strays for the area are taken are aware - 2019-05-11 21:44 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
