- Hi Peeps, Sensai is now the proud owner of a collar with tag and is being chipped next week by the RSPCA, I don't ever want to go through that again. Keep up the fantastic job you do with this site. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- SENSAI IS HOME!!!!!!!!!! Hi peeps, found out from someone local today, reckognising Sensai's picture from his poster, that someone just up the road from us had took him in. After going to see her i was told they had handed him into Brixworth Kennels. So he was collected this afternoon safe and sound and now sleeping like a baby. Thankyou soo much for all your help and support, this site is great, keep up the good work. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Overstone is on the cusp of three different councils, so please telephone Wellingborough Council 01933 229777, Daventry District Council 01327 871100 and Northampton Borough Council 01604 837837 and speak to all their dog wardens. While both Northampton and Daventry strays get taken to Forrest Lodge (who do not have a non distruction policy) Wellingborough Dogs get taken elsewhere and are not destroyed. I would recomend phoning Forrest Lodge every day to check if they have had a dog of similar type brought in. Ask if they have had any German Shephard Types too as the photo’d dog could be mistaken for one if you didn’t know Akitas well. If you get sightings and want to organise a search party please email me on diane@thedogmother.co.uk and I will join in if I am available. ***Co-Ordinators I’m a registered helper but I didn’t get notification of this lost dog to pass round my dog contacts. Should I have or is it still being developed? I found out by a freind of heftyefde posting on freecycle cafe?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- We were told by a local vet today, that a lady contacted them over the weekend to say she had found an Akita roaming in the village Overstone, about a mile or 2 from our home. Sadly though the lady had not left her contact details with them. She had mentioned she was going to ring the local dog kennels but they have not recieved any phonecall today. We have been to the village mentioned above and put up loads of posters. Will keep you updated. Thank you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Photo received and uploaded, mobile phone number added to poster. To leave an update select Add a Comment next to the blue cross just above other comments, to print posters select Dog Poster 1 above Other Information and you will find vets in the area and surrounding area by using the logo Find any UK Vet which flashes up underneath the Latest Missing photo. Someone may have picked him up and once they see a poster you will be contacted, good luck. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- SueC, I've spoken to owner re photo, discussed various ways of getting one to us, hopefully one should be received shortly with the help of her partner. Have also explained how to leave an update. He has gone missing from their home, door was open and he may have wandered off and door was shut without it being realised he was not in the house. DW's, rescue and vets have been getting checked and posters being put up. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
