- Sad update on Tinks FB page
https://m.facebook.com/groups/714179312344555?view=permalink&id=811826425913176
"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I am writing this update. Sorry for the delay, I just needed a few days to process this information.
On Friday night I spoke to a local yard manager who found the remains of a springer sized dog in a stream at the end of the summer. He saw Tink's poster shortly afterwards, but to save me the distress of seeing a very decomposed dog, he decided not to contact me at the time. He said he could not rule it in or out if it was Tink as in his words 'it was very far gone' and couldn't be recovered as 'it had started to disintegrate'.
It is a shame that he didn't tell me at the time as the Doglost team could have scanned it for a microchip to confirm if it was her. However, given the location and timing of the discovery, I believe that in all probablity he found Tink.
Thank you all for your help in searching for Tink on the ground and the internet. I am so grateful for your love and support through this horrible ordeal.
A particular thanks must go to Team Tink: Lin Iddon, Sian Jones, Emma Sparkes, Sally Smith, Sarah Gale and Annabelle Walter. Your unwavering support, publicity ideas and ability to drop everything at a potential sighting has been incredible. You are such a special group of people, I just wish we had a different outcome. This is a far cry from the Christmas reunion that I was hoping forπ₯
Thank you Girlie for some fantastic times, wonderful memories and two gorgeous pups. Run free with Otto up there my darling. You stole my heart and I miss you every single day. Sending you all my love. Rest in Peace beautiful girl. R x" - 2019-11-06 01:31 Debbie123

This lady Jayne Powell has found a very similar looking dog. Might be worth contacting her :) - 2019-09-03 16:47 RSmith
- Thank you Blackdog. Dog at AVDC is similar, but unfortunately not Tink. I called them yesterday, the dog in their care has a full tail. Tink is docked. Please keep looking. R

- There is a similar dog picked up by dog wardens SDK. Says not microchipped but could have been missed. Worth a look.

- I think crossed wires on the OP. KILL is an area in Southern Ireland!Kill (Irish: an Chill, meaning "the church") is a village and parish in County Kildare, Ireland near the county's border with Dublin beside the N7. Its population is 3,348 per the 2016 Census.[1] So Kill Shelter meaning the place not what the place was.

- Anne Curran has no idea if the dog will be PTS as she states she can’t find the original post so unsure why she think death is on the horizon. This dog will be going to rescue I’m pretty sure of that. Spreading rumours without fact is abhorrent.

- Anyone recognise this springer. It's at kennels in Ireland, but possibly stolen fro England. kennels are in a kill zone and apparently due to be PTS

- Check Anne Currans facebook page. The dog is in a shelter in Ireland. It looks very similar. It's on a list to be put to sleep.

- Just saw a post on red alert from Cynthia Jones: there's a similar looking Springer in a 'kill'π± kennel in ireland. Original post was by Anne Curran, said possibly stolen in England?
Sorry am rubbish and can't add a link. Fingers crossed - 2019-08-23 20:50 RSmith

- Thanks Bo, but not Tink. Spoke with Stanford in Vale vets yesterday & they sent me more photos to confirm it wasn't her. This one is from up north but details registered to chip incomplete.
Please keep looking for Tink! - 2019-06-26 21:14 Bo

- An extensive search of woodland today close to where Tink went missing and where the sighting was 12 days ago turned up nothing... Following a huge social media campaign, posters locally, everyone in the area is aware of Tink. It is now thought she may have been picked up by someone and not reported. Tink’s Owner will contact police tomorrow to obtain a CRN.
- 2019-05-29 15:47 Lin Iddon
- Tink is still missing. We’ve had someone out checking the area with a scope for possible sightings. It’s hoped that Tink is still in the area and cctv of local landowners is being checked. Local footpaths and bridleways are all postered as well as local villages.
- 2019-05-29 15:42 Lin Iddon
- Owner’s phone found so back on original number.

- Thank you to everyone that turned up for the search yesterday. Despite 2 hours searching there is still no news or sighting of Tink. Please continue to spread the word and if anyone can print and display any posters it would be very much appreciated.

- Thanks janiejewel. Posters are out in the area. Hoping for some news after the search today
- 2019-05-19 10:31 Unknown
- Poster around the area, and surrounding areas. Post in shops; post offices too. Ask around, specially those with children, as they can be very observant. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a LOST DOG ad in a National newspaper too.
All the best in the search for Tink
Hope it will be a positive result. Live too far away to help in the search, but will be with you all ins spirit. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE X - 2019-05-19 10:11 Lin Iddon
- All relevant authorities aware including Network Rail. A search is being organised for today at 1.30pm. If anyone is available to help please contact owner and she will give you directions. Please wear stout footwear, take a stick for poking in undergrowth and hedges and gardening gloves if possible. Please leave your dog at home if possible.
