- So sorry to hear Thabo is missing. Have you looked in at St Giles Kennels in Somerset as they currently have and have had black Labs in? 01823 490333 Please contact Dog wardens rescues and pounds on a regular basis as Thabo is not chipped they will need to be reminded he is missing and give a good description of him to them as they see many dogs on a daily basis and can easily miss match! Please poster like mad print off 100+, poster everywhere so that everyone knows Thabo is missing (to give them better protection against the weather, use punched pockets put the posters in so that the opening is at the bottom you can also seal the opening with waterproof, clear tape) put posters up in Shops, Pubs, Scrap Yards outside Travellers Camps, Parks and hand out posters to dog walkers check farms and out buildings, do regular scenting on his normal route (more info on this should you need it). Speak to the local postmen and visit your local sorting office and ask them to display a poster. Also try to 'collar' the local milkman and ask them to keep a poster of Thabo to hand. Pubs are good places to target. Try to visit them early lunchtime or early in the evening when they tend to be less busy and ask the manager to display a poster of Thabo. Speak to as many of the regulars/customers as possible as they will have plenty of good contacts and will be a mine of information. Display Thabo's poster in your car(s) and ask family, friends, neighbours, other regular dog walkers and work colleagues to do the same. Please do contact other owner(s) of missing dogs as you can support each other and poster a wider area. Please post regular updates so that the other Helpers in your area know where & what you have covered and please ask if you need help, that is what we are here for. Good luck.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
