- Yes, was thrilled too Val when Anne called me to say she had managed to capture Thor!! Woo hoo! She followed advice on the softly softly approach and it paid off. Well done to the man who called in the sighting and was sensible enough to stand back and wait for Anne. Sounds like a lot of people have worked very hard to get Thor back so well done to everyone.....happy ending with the result we all love! Welcome home Thor.....over to the blue reuniteds you go. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Great news, we had a call tonight from a gentleman walking on wakering common and saw Thor laying in the grass, he left him alone and called us . Anne went sraight over and there he was. When she called him he went potty. he is now home filthy dirty very thin and starving but home!! thanks to everyone who has helped. This dog moved over such a large area and kept us hard at it for the last 2 weeks. But a great ending ValLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Val, thanks for registering Thor on her on behalf of owner....really sorry to see he is still missing. Do you know if the owner has alerted m/c company and managed to contact local vets etc? I am sure you have given her loads of good advice already! Also, has she managed to get any posters up in the area and received any sightings? I know there are several stables around that area so he could be taking shelter in an outbuilding possibly? Great to see he is m/c and tagged. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I am too far away to be of practical help, sorry. But, you obviously know where he is which is excellent. You need to get someone to put food down in the same place night & morning, top it with pilchards. The smell travels and will home him in and keep him there knowing food is on tap. Put a bowl of water down too so he does not have to travel to find any, especially in this heat. Also put a scented towel or similar nearby so he can smell and identify with you. I am sure you will get him soon that way. I hope your child is soon better. Good luck...
