- Fudge has just been caught by the picnic tables. Thanks to everyone who helped, including tracker dog Finlay who indicated yesterday that there was recent scent there.

- I’m so sorry :( thought was a long shot as a hearing and not an actual sighting, as well as over a day ago. I think I know the house with the noisy dog and it has a path running along the back of the garden. The woodland I tried to walk around with my dog following the barking was close but on the other side of the bridleway to that house (hither miers on OS map) and was so sure it was coming from in there. Really hope she is found soon x

- The owners heard a Dog barking in the woods and followed the route described . Unfortunately it was not Fudge . The barking was from a garden that backed on to the woods x

- Sorry should explain further. Both bridleway and footpath (OS routes) come off from Wood Lane, kings Cliffe and run parallel. Footpath runs alongside south of woods for a while, the bridleway goes into wood joining the park cycle track on a corner with a bench. The little construction site is on this bridleway just as you reach the woods. Entering the woods from kings Cliffe on this bridleway, patch of wood barking was heard was first patch on the left immediately after the construction site.

- Not a sighting and unfortunately from yesterday morning, but did hear what sounded like a dog barking constantly for about an hour from the middle of a patch of the wood furthest east between the footpath and the bridleway which both lead to kings Cliffe. Walked as much of the perimeter of the patch with my own dog but couldn’t get to where the barking was coming from due to the thick undergrowth. The patch was adjacent to a small construction site, they may have heard the barking too or seen something? Opposite side of the woods to where fudge was lost and visitor centre already told but on the slight chance it could help, thought I should pass this on here too.
Really hope little fudge is found. - 2019-05-30 16:32 belle
- If she is wearing a harness then she may be stuck attached to a root of branch, we found our dog in a rabbit hole stuck with her collar hooked on to a root which she couldn’t chew.

- Our area volunteer for Northamptonshire, Val, has spoken to Fudge's family now & given advice, there has been a lost of people out searching & it is really important please for people to ensure they are not scaring Fudge out of the area, if she has been scared off & ran, it is not beyond possibility for the dog sighted in MK to be Fudge although this was the same day as the sighting near to the car park which would be more likely, local volunteers in that area are aware & helping to establish in anycase. Anyone out searching please remember to search as quietly as possible & please do not call her name, if Fudge is sighted please do not chase her, please contact her family on the number above as soon as possible giving the exact location & direction of travel, if possible whilst keeping Fudge in sight at a safe distance so as not to scare her x

- Hi Sue, have the owners contacted all of the authorities please, I emailed the contact details x

- No further update i'm afraid , and it appears no sightings . A lady in Milton keynes reported seeing a Dog that looked a little like Fudge . MK is a long way from the lost area though . Fudges owners say it may be a possibility that she would jump in a car , they have been advised on contacting highways agency . Posters will be going up around the woods and surrounding areas today .Last edited: 2019-05-30 10:30:56 by Sue Pernatual
