Amber found! Collected from Bath Cat and Dogs. Not sure how I clear this missing log but I have phoned regional co-ordinator and left message. Thanks for your help!

Owner off to a dog home to check if one taken in is Amber, if not then will be sending in photo asap.

Thanks Boxadore BS31 is the postcode area where this dog went missing from, which is near Keynsham in the Bath and North East Somerset area.  Please poster everywhere though as dogs do turn up everywhere!  Owner please contact both Bristol and Bath Dogs Homes as you are right on the border there.  I take it you have alerted the Dog Wardens??  Please let us have a photo asap.

  Firstly inform the Dog warden who you will be able to contact at your council offices. Posters (In plastic folders) need to be put up in the area where Amber went missing, or where there have been sightings if any - on lamposts, entrances to parks and strategic places in parks,  like at the start and finish of tracks and paths, dog bins, at vets, petshops, pubs, carry-out food shops, post offices,  local shops who often allow postcards in the window, supermarkets who have notice boards, community centres, youth clubs, schools etc. You can ask the postman, milkman, taxi drivers,  street cleaners,  binmen (even put poster on bins), to take some flyers and hand them out on their rounds. You can ask school bus drivers and kids on the bus, or if you have kids on the bus, get them to hand out flyers at school.  Deliver flyers to houses, businesses & pop through letterboxes . Hand out flyers to people in the street, especially dog walkers. Put posters or flyers  in  car windows. Rescue centres and kennels, also police offices need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows the dog, because your dog or it's breed may not be recognised by other people. Also police are sometimes too busy to deal with it. Get some media coverage if you can, by asking the local radio station to broadcast Amber as missing and put an ad in the local newspaper with a picture of her. Good luck and best wishes.

Sent owner an email for a photo so a poster can be printed off and to ask which area Amber went missing from and to ask for help as we have some fab helpers that will look out for her.

Mb1, sorry to see Amber is missing can you please update us and confirm the area she has gone missing from.  Please add a photo so we can see what she looks like one can be sent to admin@doglost.co.uk To leave an update select Add a Comment next to the blue cross just above other comments, to print posters select Dog Poster 1 above Other Information and you will find vets in the area and surrounding area by using the logo Find any UK Vet which flashes up underneath the Latest Missing photo.  Someone may have picked her up and once they see a poster you will be contacted, good luck.   Jan x
