- Indoor cats that "Escape" will usually feel very anxious, and scared being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. And they tend to hide close by, or some will have adventures in someone`s garden. A door Jasmine has access to, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block her entrance or she may see it as a "Threat" and run off. Put some tuna or chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave these about 2/3 metres from the door. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. If all else fails, you could borrow a cat trap from an animal rescue centre, or Cat Protection (For a small donation I think). Put scented items of Jasmines in the trap. And place it in the garden in a sheltered spot. Cats can squeeze through very small spaces, about 3" in diameter, as they have very flexible spines, so she may ave got through a slightly opened window. Check behind hedges/bushes too. Is she isn`t neutered she may have gone looking for a mate. Hope Jasmine is home very soon. Paws xd.
