Spent a couple of hours looking for him late afternoon/early evening. Went to Croham Hurst Woods and walked along the path at the side of the golf course. Gave some dog walkers the contact mobile number. Then walked to Lloyd Park where I met the man who had seen Bernie earlier in the day. He was also looking for him.
If anybody is organising a search, please let me know via Doglost.

Not found him yet, but was seen again in Lloyd park a few hours ago. I think he's staying between Lloyd Park, Croham Hurst Woods, South Croydon, Selsdon Road for now at least. Thanks all for your input and help

He was spotted about half a hour ago on Birdhurst Rise (past our house), Lloyd Park, Coombe Road then Selsdon Road. It sounds like he was travelling quite quickly so could be looping round

Yes that does help a lot, the route could take him past Purley Downs Golf Club so have emailed them to alert all staff & visitors, hopefully they will put a poster up. Can’t see any other obvious areas of green near there where he may be sheltering. If he did cross the railway using the footbridge again are there areas that side that he might be familiar with - any of the parks. Really hope he’ll be spotted today. I’ll tag locations near the golf club in my instagram and have tweet to local accounts too 🐾 paws crossed for Bernie 🐾

He was around Westfield ave, church road and farmfields yesterday morning, and last sighting was sanderstead hill at 1:30pm, heading towards Brighton road, if that helps

Sanderstead Rd looks really long! Is it poss to find out from Next Door sighting which end / pinpoint a bit more? Might then be poss to target local businesses and dog walkers . Is he familiar with a particular route or park nearby? Am sharing on twitter and instagram for him. So wet this morning, hopefully he’s taking shelter somewhere. 🐾🐾
