So pleased for Holly - far too much excitement for an elderly mare!

Brilliant action by the passer by to herd her to a safer place. Good action by A&S police, crap logging &/or comms.

Owner has just called to send her great thanks to all. Holly has been located snug in a stable with a kind family who rescued her from the roads with their horse box on Thursday evening. It appears Avon & Somerset Police were in attendance at the time, sad that this information not communicated back. Holly soon to be transported home sweet home.

Thanks all, owner has just called me. The original witness who followed pony into field Thursday evening has been traced and has pointed owner in right direction. Enquiries confirm a pony located stray in area and secured in a stable, owner heading over there now. Fingers crossed.

Holly is a much loved pony 11'2 missing from her garden paddock pm:13/06/19. Paddock gate found insecure. At approx 2225hrs 13/06/19 a social media post on 'Spotted in Trowbridge' reads: I just chased a pony into a big field off the main cross roads going down towards Farleigh. If it's yours it is safe at moment but could wander if it wants to'. The owner/family would very much appreciate hearing from this kind person to confirm the exact location of last sighting. Thank you
