Once you have a photo on site for the poster, print it off and poster everywhere, the power of the poster cannot be over-estimated.   It's great that Dragonfly is tattooed, the posters will make him too hot to handle once they realise this and it's likely he will be dumped.    Check with the dog warden and visit rescue centres/kennels regularly, in person, don't rely on phone calls as they don't always match descriptions given with the dogs they have in.   Good luck, be safe Dragonfly xx

Make sure this is reported to the police as theft and get a CRIME number. Are there any travellers nearby??? They will need checking out. Put a poster on their gateposts. If he is on a site and posters appear, they usually let them go and they are found wandering nearby. Good luck. Hope you find him soon..

Owner can we have a photo asap. It is vital that poster be put up everywhere to make your dog too hot to handle. Stolen dogs are often sold on in car parks of pubs ,clubs, car boot sales and country fairs so make sure you visit as many as possible. Don't forget to inform the dog warden as thieves sometimes dump the dogs. Hope you find him soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
