A comment on Abby's post in our national FB group suggests you check this found dog https://www.facebook.com/groups/297059070692410/permalink/761751664223146/

I hope it’s ok but I emailed local animal rescue Bleakholt & dog warden with the poster, it’s poss Abby could have been taken to either of them if she was found & as some time has now passed it’s urgent to get hold of them quickly. Have you notified the chip company she is missing? If not, please do that & I would also recommend contacting all local vets if you haven’t already. Really distressing for you, so sorry this has happened Last edited: 2019-07-04 07:32:39

Sharing on twitter and instagram . My dog did exactly the same thing when I went into labour, I know how distressing this is for you. Am hoping that a kind neighbour realised what had happened and took your dog in to calm her. Paws crossed she will be returned very soon. Last edited: 2019-07-04 07:31:32

In contact with owner, advice given and will help all I can. She says it is a Sheltie according to last owner.

Thank you, I would say this is an older Sheltie, about 12-14 and a bi-colour, It's ears are sheltie type but have only the very end tips bent a little. It's feet are also much hairier than a collie. Looking at the bit of the bike and the paving slabs, it is about the right size for a Sheltie.

Sheltielover - please see link to video I put in comments previously (copy & paste & put into FB URL) this might help determine breed?

This could be a black and white Shetland Sheepdog, when it is older. If the owner has another photograph it may be clearer.

Think the breed description should be collie/collie cross? As nothing like a Sheltie
