Is this dog still missing? I ask as my friend who lives in the CM20 area has seen what he described as a large wiry dog loose with a matted coat going grey in places. He thought it looked like a large wolf hound of some description it followed him and his dog for a while but when he turned round it ran off. His neighbour has also seen the same dog running free near the Stow Area of Harlow.

Oh no Toby, not again! Yasa, I have updated the contact numbers for Toby's owners (had them from last time he went missing). Owner, I presume you have phoned all the kennels I gave you numbers for last time, including the one he ended up in before at Wormley? I have sent an email to the out of hours dog warden for the area so he is aware he is missing again. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner could you please amend your details to carry your full contact number for the poster. We only have part of it at present. If you have seen Toby in your area that is good news. As long as you do not try to chase him he will stay around now. Try to leave a way in for him, like the gate open, and leave some food near to the place you saw him with of his bedding. This will keep him in the area. May be try a squeeky toy, or another dog he is familiar with to temp him in. Also leave some of your soiled clothing in the area, or old shoes or socks etc that have your scent. Good luck, but dont try to rush it. You are best to walk the other way calling gently if you see him again rather than approaching him. Also, no sudden moves, and may be sit or lie down humming, or speaking quietly. Have a slip lead ready to pass over his neck if he comes up to you. Remember, gently gently, catch a monkey ! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
