So happy for the owner. I remember when my dog returned I rang everyone at 5.30 in the morning because I was so happy. Not sure people were pleased to be woken at 5.30am but we were on top of the world. She was a much more confident dog when she returned. As I said before I could not let her off the lead before she escaped but two weeks after she returned we took her and the other dogs to Bournemouth beach and she was running as part of the pack, where as before she just shook and trembled. Today she is a lovely dog who likes people and enjoys life. Heather enjoy life in the uk, the best of times are ahead of you. Best wishes to Heathers owners.

I live in the ox26 post code. My Greek rescue went missing from my house in 2013.I put out my wheelie bin and the wind caught the gate and opened it. She had been with us for 9 months but still scared of people she did not know and we could not let her off the lead. We put up posters and walked miles. She was put on Doglost and lots of very kind people helped to look for her. Most of the sightings were at Caversfield although she was always walked at Bure Park. We also adopted her sister at the same time who was not so timid. She was missing for 9 days in total. We were lucky to be put in touch with a lady who had a tracker dog who gave me some tips. Amazingly she came home one morning at 5am. We left the side gate open all night with her bed out there. My husband got up as he heard a noise and there she was. I thought I would put her story on here so I can say to her owner don't give up, I am sure she will be found.
