- Well yet another HAPPY ENDING thanks to DOG LOST and HIGHWAYS TRAFFIC TEAM,Iam so pleased these good people are encouraged to help where they can. I do know that they are not obliged to put their selves at risk helping an animal BUT they do, and usually succeed.but then struggle to find someone and somewhere to take the animal off them, Thats where we try and help, you never know what they are coming in with. Dogs are the norm, but deer horses cattle and sheep follow up very close..I do ask if you can help these good people get in touch and offer what help you can.Its not that often we get a call, BUT it could be YOUR animal needing a lifeline!. Ray.

- highways here. :) we’re just so glad she was found safe and well and we were happy to help. I definitely didn’t envisage spending half of my shift crawling through the woods on my tummy, but every day is different and my colleague and I are both animal lovers so there was no question we weren’t going to help. I hope Bella is OK and has recovered from her little adventure. x x x

- I’m a highways traffic officer and was on shift today. we spent several hours looking for Bella. she was last spotted by a member of public at approx 20:13, running across the services road from the left to the right (the road as you come in and head straight towards the garage). we then spotted her 10 minutes later in the dense woodland to the right as you come in, between the vets and the lorry park. as soon as we saw her we withdrew and let Dogslost and the owner know which area she was in. the owners were heading back down from Birmingham, I believe they arrived about 10pm and Dogslost were staying on scene. I am hoping for a happy outcome and will keep an eye on this page. Please keep us updated. x

- Gloria Gadget - are you able to check all ditches, streams and the large ponds / lakes to the south of the services in case Bella has fallen down a steep bank and unable to climb out?

- Anybody that is able to print off Posters and put up in Services and area would help greatly. Sadly the family have driven back to Birmingham and she only has us tomhelp her. DW/Vets/ Highways aware.
