Thanks LydiaJ for the msg, which I have replied to.

As requested I have updated the REWARD and also some other info which will create another updated poster. Will also update the share post on fb.

The support and sharing is on going. Thanks a million to everyone who is helping. It takes just that one poster or share on fb and Twitter to be seen. Finger crossed someone makes that most important call.

I didn’t want to worry you but just wanted to make sure that all the more worrying scenarios had been covered so that you, your Mum & Dad and sisters can carry on with the search. Our much-loved large tabby cat went missing when he was allowed to escape from the vets! We and a few friends rallied round to help us (as well as the veterinary staff!) but I am happy to report that our tenacity paid off when we found him 5 days later ‘tripping’ up the pathway of our local private hospital. Boris was very pleased to see us but cross that we hadn’t come to get him sooner! And so really do know how worried you must be. Once again wishing for some good news very soon and that BB is back home safe and sound very soon. Xx
LydiaJ
Thank you for the advice here!! We have done all of that already but it is always good to reconsider and re-group! Think my sisters are looking into it again! Xx

I am so sorry to hear that this little sweetie is still missing. I live a long way away from you in North Kent and so unable to help ‘on the ground’ but I can see that you are being given such good support and advice from others on DogLost, especially the advice on not just relying on posters locally to where your parents live, but to knock on each of their neighbour’s doors. But just one thought, when doing this (and however unlikely), would you also ask those neighbours who have ponds, swimming pools, jacuzzis, children’s paddling pools, etc to check those. As I say, extremely unlikely but just wanted you or your parents to ask neighbours to double check, just to rule it out. I am keeping everything crossed ‘this end’ and hope that BB is back home very soon.

Are you aware of the Scam Alert at the top of the Lost dog page. Better to be informed about these scams should it happen to you. Hope BB is found soon.

Have updated the details and added more contact numbers and also a new pic to the Extra Image box. Will also update share post on fb. Her missing details have been getting shared by lots across Social Media.

Owner and family are doing a great job in their search. Breeder has also been very helpful. Thanks again to everyone who is helping to find little BB. She could of been sold on to an innocent purchaser and be out of the area.

Poster around the area.and post through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant.. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a LOST PUPPY in a National newspaper too. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL Twitter too. Little paws xd.

Yes the yard next to the house behind gates, no one heard the gate open and it’s quite clunky! It was my Mum and dads, I wasn’t there. Big drain next to the gate which she could have got out or been pulled through ... thank you! If we can have loads more shares today to keep it going xxx

Thanks Joan I will
Go and have another good look tomorrow x
Joan
LydiaJ, I've just read a post here on dogslost about a missing dog called Jeeves who has just been found having been stuck under a summer house for 29 hours! Sometimes they can be very close to home....
LydiaJ
Thank you Joan some great advice here!!! Xx
Joan
LydiaJ, ask your parents to call on each of the neighbours to ask specifically if they have seen BB or seen anyone acting suspiciously this morning? Ask them to check their gardens thoroughly too in case BB has managed to get into a neighbour 's garden and is stuck somewhere. The neighbours could be away and so would not know she is stuck in their garden. Did anyone have a delivery around that time? children will soon know if a class mate has acquired a new puppy, ask in the local pub and shops. Any neighbours or businesses in the vicinity with cctv? I do hope BB has just wandered off somewhere and will be found safe and sound close by. Joanx

I will do Joan! She’s been missing since 9am this morning so I think it’s more likely she has been taken as she was outside.
Joan
Hi LydiaJ, it's definitely worth doing a systematic search. Pups/ small dogs have been found inside sofas and chairs which recline, and anywhere that looks as if it might be a interesting space to explore. They have also climbed into owners cars/ vans/ camper vans parked on the owner's premises. Where did they last see her? In the house or outside? Ask your parents to retrace everything they were doing before and after they noticed her missing....loading the dishwasher, washing machine, airing cupboard.....check everywhere even if it seems most unlikely.....sometimes they can squeeze themselves into a small space and can't work out how to get back out or they are snug and fall asleep.....we once lost a kitten for an hour up the chimney!!
LydiaJ
Thanks Chris!!!

Hi Joan

It was my Mum and dads house and as far as I’m aware they searched everywhere! I’ve messaged them again to ask x
Joan
LydiaJ, just wondered if you have searched your house and garden thoroughly, could BB have crawled under a piece of furniture for example, , the sofa, in the wardrobe, the garden shed.....There have been instances in the past where missing dogs have been found at home......

Sorry to see that BB TEN WEEKS OLD WHEN SHE WENT MISSING is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (145333)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
