**** a message from Delta’s Mum 🙏 beware get tissues at the ready 😢😩******
I don’t think myself and Sam can thank people enough for the past few days. So many emotions that have just wiped us out, so I apologise for just writing this now, as I think we managed on 5 hours sleep over the 3 days, if not less.
We have been absolutely blown away from the support, kindness and action from family, friends and complete strangers, all coming together to find our little girl.
All the people who came and searched for hours in the day and night, put up posters, shared posts, lost sleep, kept the positivity and spread the word- we thank you so much, and I don’t think that will ever be enough. Truly people can be amazing.
We had the most amazing wedding on Saturday, and the only thing missing was Delta. Thank you to everyone who came, we truly had a great day. The guilt we felt for not being out looking whilst other people were was overwhelming, and I don’t think there was a moment we didn’t think about what she was going through or the fact we had the hottest day on record for our day. Everyone stayed so positive for us. If everyone could send us the pictures they took that would be great.
Family got the call in the early hours of Sunday to say they had spotted some eyes by the train track, and had seen a poster of a dog missing. They rushed there, and sure enough after pulling her out from the undergrowth it was our Delta. I don’t think we could of asked for a better wedding present than when we got the call that she was found, and we got the biggest wag of a tail we could of asked for.
I think there was a few good points to come out of all this. I married my best friend. Animal lovers are a force to be reckoned with. There is still kindness in the world, even after everything you hear about on a daily basis. Family will always be there for you, and I think we are now stronger than ever.
Delta literally will never know how lucky she is, and how many hundreds of people were hoping for her safe return. Again we can’t can’t thank everyone enough, and will do our best to reply to everyone’s messages.
So thank you for my new husband for being my rock in all of this, my new parents in law, my family, my friends, everyone who spent hours searching on foot, posting on social media, you know who you are. My maid of honour and Sams best man who helped us keep it together through the day, our photographer who helped us capture memories from the day, and kept us smiling even if we didn’t feel like it. #doglost for being amazing. #9milevets who patched our girl up. The 2 men on the train tracks who without them we may still not have her back. My sister in law who literally didn’t stop being on the phone, talking to as many people as she could, and single handedly carrying Delta out of the hole she was in, and back into safety. We literally cannot thank you and everyone enough.

- 'The rail way workers saw the posters that were on the tracks so whoever that idea was you THANK YOU!'
'All we have is a saw paw and a bit dehydrated ♥️🙏🙌'
To clarify, DogLost volunteers postered at relevant Rail stations and rail foot crossing where the public had access and did not trespass on the railway.Last edited: 2019-07-01 19:02:36 - 2019-06-29 21:17 JEAN

- Delta was spooked when she was with her dog walker at Bucklers Park woods, several miles from her current home in Warfield where the walker collected her from. She was then sighted at Owners previous home off Dukes Ride in Crowthorne ~13:30hrs and on to Addiscombe Road.
Other sightings near Wildmoor Heath Nature Reserve, Eagle House School and possibly Crowthorne Rec behind fire station - timings unknown.
At 14:08 she was spotted on Derby Green Foot Crossing (Network Rail aware, trains on caution) then 14:40 Sandhurst to Blackwater with last known sighting at Sandhurst Rail station around midnight. - 2019-06-29 10:27 .

- Rebecca, as discussed, it would be better to ask everyone who have head torches etc, and who are calling, to switch them off, stop calling for her, return home now and thank them for the advice.
She's been spotted at her original home so the likelihood is that she will return again.
You have my number so if you need it, please do call. x - 2019-06-28 21:55 Karen - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
