From comments on the Dorset Facebook group BB has only been in the area a week.

If you see her you need to drop down to her level, no sudden movements and using small pieces of really strong smelling, tasty food, gently throw them towards her and using soft gentle tones, encourage her to come to them No chasing or shouting It takes patience But it does work

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.
