- Have just spoken to Lucky's owner and apparently Lucky was found this morning down by the riverside at Kirkstal by a kind lady who took her home, fed her and called the dog warden who scanned her and contacted the owners. Many thanks to the lady finder and dog warden ! Now its a mystery how she got to where she was found as its at least 13 miles from where she lives and there are lots of busy roads in this area........... one things for sure we dont think she could have got there on her own !. Lucky is now getting lots of cuddles and hopefully will soon be over her ordeal. Welcome home Lucky and stay safe from now on xxx Pam Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I just wanted to say a big Thank You to Pam and the team for all your help. I couldnt have done it without you all. Lucky is now safe & sound back at home. A little stressed, thin & tired but nothing a bit of love and lots of cuddles won't cure. This site has been invaluable and I will recommend it to everyone. Thank you again xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have spoken to Luckys owner and advised re postering, informing local vets, pounds etc. Hopefully they will be able to get a photo of her onto site tomorrow as one owner is away and the other who is at home does not have much pc knowledge. I understand she is best described as a 'staffy type' so its really important we do get a photo of her as there are so many dogs of this description in pounds locally. - Sorry to see that Lucky has gone missing. Owner, thank you for registering with Doglost, we will do all we can to help. You need to inform all authorities immediately including vets in case Lucky gets picked up. It is important we get a photograph for the poster. Can you possibly upload one for us, or email it to admin@doglost.co.uk and we will put it on for you. Seeing as Lucky is a cross breed, and descriptions may vary, it is even more important you get posters to all local dog wardens, pounds, shelters, RSPCA, police, and vets. Dogs may be re-homed after only seven days, so if any possibility that Lucky has been picked up, do visit in person. Good luck for news very soon, but please sort the photo pronto.
