for the information of local helpers  I found out yesterday that as of last week Cliffe Kennels at Hoylandswaine are no longer taking stray dogs. They now go to Spingfield 01924 271028 ,Mount Pleasant 01302 722748 , Oakenshaw at wakefield 01924 863037 or Sheffield  District Kennels 0114 2930362. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dogs from Barnsley are no longer guarenteed to go to Hoylandswaine-Cliffe Kennels. If picked up there are 4 kennels been used. I can poster Pets At Home in town in morning. The area where these two went missing from is semi rural- needs posters all around regular walks. Jumanji already on the case & will speak to her in morning before contacting ownersLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If these two ran off while on a walk, please check back where they disappeared, as they will almost certainly return.   Also worth leaving an item of clothing or something of yours that they can relate to, that will help them to stay in the area.   Great that they are chipped and tagged.   Come home safely and quickly, you two lovely boys xx

Spoke to owner to help with getting photo's on site, now received and uploaded.  Poster can now be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information.  Good luck and hope to see them in the BLUE soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Moss is unusual for a bedlington in that he is liver in colour and comes from the working side of the breed which means he's larger than the show types which are more often seen. He is a lazy boy and is likely to be tucked away somewhere catching some Zzzzzzzz. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

have spoken to Moss' owners and advised them to poster as much as possible, inform dog wardens, vets etc.Its also vital to  inform and visit if possible all local pounds as often as possible.Photos of both Moss and Archie who went missing together are being sent in to admin. I have posted pound contact numbers on Archies page.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
