Hi, I know this is a long shot but thought I would share just in case there is the smallest possibility she could be Tilly. Sorry the Dog in the photo does look rather sad. Last edited: 2021-03-05 23:46:02 by Chrimble - 2020-09-10 15:40 Debbie123
- Following the recent police operation in Orpington, 17 dogs have been found & confirmed or suspected to be stolen, - look on fb page for Croydon Police or Call 101 @MetCC and quote Op Medusa - there are a couple of dogs similar to yours

- From Tilly's facebook page.... A painful anniversary 😞
One year to the day that Tilly and Tasha (who was thankfully found) ran off spooked by ‘something’ on Heacham North beach 😢
We will never give up...will check every lead...so PLEASE keep looking for a disheveled Cocker Spaniel...a found red and black harness maybe?...a lead...a collar...a neighbour with a fairly recent (within the last year) similar dog (with no tail!) that they may have innocently bought...do let us know 🙏🏻
Thank you all for supporting Jean (and Tasha...and Tilly 😞) over this last year...thank God Tasha was found ❤️...but we would love to know where Tilly is too 😭
Please share widely...
Where are you Tilly 💔 - 2020-07-03 16:40 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- It's been almost a year now since Tilly bolted with Tasha...Tasha home safe in the arms of Jean...TILLY STILL MISSING!! 😔
Possible sightings come in and are thoroughly investigated...Tilly's team follow up EVERY single one...but most sightings are one-offs and not confirmed as Tilly 😞
If Tilly is still 'living rough' she will not look like her photos...her coat will be long, probably matted and dirty. She may or may not have her harness/collar still on. She will hide deep in daylight...and emerge to look for food at dark. Food during the Summer is more plentiful...but she may scavenge bin bags, picnic areas etc. She may regularly eat food left out for foxes/hedgehogs/cats
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU SEE ANYTHING THAT MAY HAVE BEEN TILLY VISITING 🙏
Of course, there are a couple of other explanations for Tilly's disappearence...so again, please let us know if:
1. Anyone you know has 'aquired' a dog like Tilly...remember, she has no tail (docked at first vertebrae) or
2. You find anything that could confirm the worst 😞
We will not give up on Tilly...PLEASE SHARE, SHARE, SHARE her story...just one little piece of definate information is all we need 🙏 - 2020-04-05 12:24 JEAN
- Post bumped Tilly's post on Home Safe Dog UK Due to recent possible sighting xx

- UPDATE from Tilly's facebook group......
A feasible sighting of a ‘thin, very dirty, light coloured Spaniel with no tail’ has come in today (Thurs 2/4/20) in the Snettisham area. The dog sighted bolted fast over the A149.
It is always a possibility that lighter nights, better weather, less traffic on the roads and ANY changes to their environment will bring a long-term lost dog out from their hiding place...so we need to ask for eyes peeled once again as much as you can.
The Covid-19 restrictions are making it extremely difficult to follow up sightings as intensely as we normally would, but PLEASE can we request that people in the Snettisham area taking their daily exercise, or travelling around there keep a lookout for this dog.
REMEMBER:
▪️Tilly will be looking disheveled by now...her coat will be longer, dirty, probably matted...she could look quite different from these photos...TRY TO GET A PICTURE IF YOU SEE HER
▪️She may still have her red harness on, but it is likely she doesn’t any more
▪️Tilly has NO TAIL (docked at first vertebrae)
▪️If you do know of another dog in that area that fits the description...please do let us know
‼️PLEASE SHARE THIS POST WIDELY AND IF YOU SEE A DOG LIKE THIS THAT COULD BE TILLY - PLEASE CALL 07799 580 206‼️ - 2020-02-09 08:20 Stoneleigh17
- This older lady was found in Kent, she has a similar patch at the base of her tail, can't see from the photo if there's also a spot on her back. Shes not the Ellie mentioned.

- Update 4th August 9.30pm
After today's sighting, it sounds like it could possibly be Tilly but not 100% confirmed. Once again she got scared and ran off...Jean went down to the area with drone pilot but no sadly no sign...we are monitoring the area, laying food, setting cameras etc.
She so easily spooked, which makes her run quicker and further
Thank you to those who called and messaged in. Keep those fingers crossed 🤞 and those eyes peeled around the coast x - 2019-07-30 12:35 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge

Update 21st July 3.30pm
We now believe that the 2 dogs went their separate ways and in completely different directions.
The areas to keep close eye on are from Wootton area right through to Hunstanton.
We cannot be specific in a certain area as dogs on the move travel far but we need you help by keeping vigilant and report anything you see.
PLEASE DO NOT CHASE, THEY WILL RUN AWAY
Please contact the owner immediately on 07799580206 or 07754436919 - 2019-07-21 11:18 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- UPDATE taken from their facebook group.....
Tilly was spotted last night...again in the Hunstanton area.
As is natural instinct by well meaning people, she was however 'chased'...and bolted.
The team are working on the sighting area...Jean (Tilly and Tasha's owner) will be walking the area, laying scents, food/water will be laid, trail cameras (which act as our eyes) will be set, we have our drone pilot on standby and, hopefully, we can monitor to either trap her or for Jean to secure her. - 2019-07-15 05:28 Jem25

- Possible sighting....13th July 6.45pm...
A possible sighting in Ingoldisthorpe. A long way off so may not be helpful but someone thinks he saw a cocker spaniel about 4pm on the Drift. Possibly hit by a car and ran off into the field. - 2019-07-13 18:20 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge

- Thankyou for your ALL your comments, the Rochdale dog is a much smaller.
Tilly is the light coloured one, she has been known to escape from her harness when she's scared. She was the one with the training lead attached to her harness.
TASHA is the more darker coloured one and Tilly is the lighter of the 2 - 2019-07-13 01:12 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
