- House cats that "Escape" like this will usually hide close by. And can feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. A door she has access to. open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block her entrance or she may see it a "Threat" and run off again. Put some tuna, or chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place her UNWASHED blanket into clean container, and place it about 2 metres from the open door. The best time to find a cat is nightime or early morning .?If you see he approaching, I wouldn`t try to grab her, or she may run off again. Just act nonchalante. If all else fails, I would borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection,or an Animal Rescue Centre (for small donation I think. Place inside her UNWASHED blanket; your scent too. L<eve in the garden, about 2/3 metres from the door. Paw xd.
