- Indoor cats that"Escape" like this will usually feel very anxious, being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. They also tend to hide close by, if timid. But could be having an adventure in someone`s garden. A door he has access too, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block his entrance or he may see it as a "Threat" and run off. Put some tuna, or chicken in his dish, and leave it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave these about 2/3 metres from the open door. Check ALL outbuildings THOROUGHLY in case he is trapped. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant where animals are concerned Poster around the area. and post flyers through doors too. Poster where, and when you can. If all else fails. I would borrow cat trap from Cat Protection, or an animal rescue centre for a small donation I think. Id you do place inside an object with his scent on; yours too. Leave it in the garden about 2 metres from he door. Paws xd.
