- I was so sorry to hear that little Talisker had not made it home. Scotties are such brave and special little people and his family will be devastated I know. We lost our 2 yr old many years ago and yet she's still with us making us smile. My thoughts are with you now. Run free little lad with my Bonnie and all the others you will meet there. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- To all of you - a big thank you for your help. Sadly, it was reported today that our Scottish Terrier, Talisker, was found washed up on a beach some miles from where he went missing. He must have chased a rabbit too near the cliff edge and tumbled into the turbulent waters of Bardsey Sound before being swept out to sea. He was identified from the posters we had put up in the district. We shall be making a donation to you in memory of a valiant little dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Poor little Talisker. Did he run off or could he have been taken? Please contact STECS (Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme) as they could hear of any Scottie turning up, whether a cross or ped. Ask them to put him on their website. Mrs. P. Norris 01274 530991 AND call Carol Sayce, Gwent 01267 242850. Obviously contact all Council dog wardens & rehoming centres in area, print posters & send to all vets, groomers & dog training centres, put up everywhere as many as poss a.s.a.p. - schools, pubs, parks, shops, POs, lamp posts, footpaths, libraries, dog bins, give to milkmen, postmen (ask to put up in sorting office), bin men, newspaper delivery people, etc. Do hope this little boy will be home soon. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
