- Someone may have gone to stroke him and as he is a little timid, he may have run off, and has become lost, and disorientated. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children,as they can be very observant. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can, Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. Assume as tends to run off from those he doesn`t know, no one else is feeding him? Post a LOST cat d in a National newspaper too, in case he has climbed into a vehicle, which isn`t that uncommon for cats to do. Presume ALL outbuildings. in including empty houses, and cellars were checked THOROUGHLY? Bear in mind that cats can squeeze into very small spaces (About 3" in diameter) Due to their very flexible spines. You could contact Colin Butcher (Ex police detective) who is now a pet detective, who owns a Cocker spaniel called Molly who is trained as a cat detector dog. Molly has managed to locate 90 lost cats in 2/3 years. She is believed to be the only cat detector dog in he UK Colin Butcher resides in Surrey, but willing to travel far, and wide in the UK. As he is a professional, not sure the cost, but said he would give advice over the phone. The phone number is 01403 753 463. Email info@thepetdetectives.com Paws xd, Last edited: 2019-07-29 12:40:02
