- Indoor cats that go missing will usually feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. They will sometimes hide close by, or have adventures in a neighbours garden. A door PimPus has access to, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block his entrance, or he nay see it as a "Threat" and run off. Put some tuna, or warm chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden about 2 metres from the open door. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around ,especially those with children, as they can be very observant. When darkness falls and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cat eyes, And when searching use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. You could also take with you an Air Freshener which is used regularly in the house. It may remind PimPus of his home comforts. The ideal time to search is when is night/early morning. Ask neigbours to check their outbuildings THOROUGHLY too. Paws xd.
