- Other Info Lost at 6pm on 01/08. Murphy was wearing a Black collar when he went missing. PLEASE DO NOT SHOUT OR CHASE HIM. Seen at 7pm on 01/08 on Gisburn Road close to Greystones and the Moorcock Inn running down towards Admergill. If found he should be reported to council Dog Warden as required (By Law)

- From Murphy's overjoyed family........He’s been to the vet and he’s mostly fit and well. He’s dehydrated and has lost at least 1kg in weight (which is quite a lot when you only weigh 7kg) and he has some bumps and bruises. He’s done some damage to his left eye on his adventures and might lose his sight in that eye but we’ll know more in a few days. It is so amazing to have him home. I can’t thank all of you enough, so many wonderful people who did so much for this little man and for our family. You are all amazing. I can’t believe how many of you have been out searching and postering for him, it really does mean the world to us to have him home. Thank you also for all of your words of kindness. Getting that message tonight was so incredible. Thank you Laura and Scott Robinson for keeping him safe until we could get there, you’ve made us all very happy.
We need to say a special thank you to the wonderful teams at Doglost and Drone SAR for Lost Dogs. They have provided us with constant advice and support and give up so much time as volunteers to support families with finding their pets. They have loaned us equipment to search for Murphy and Mark spent hours out with his drone searching woodland with Nick taking over when Mark went on holiday. Jen has also given up hours and hours of her time to support us along with Alison, Pat and Michelle. I never even knew these amazing groups of volunteers existed. If anyone has enjoyed getting out a bit more and helping to find Murphy then please look them up and see if you can help in some way. - Murphy was found on Saturday evening and is home safe sleeping off his adventures. He has lost weight, is dehydrated and has damaged his left eye so it looks like he has been out in the wild for 16 days and nights without a single sighting. He’s recovering already by hogging the duvet. Thank you everyone who has supported us with finding him.

- Possible sighting of Murphy today at 1400 (ish) food station has gone up and a pilot might be going out tomorrow to search the specific area. If it was Murphy, he is in survival mode.

- Search organised for today......So the plan for today is to walk from Stainthwaite, along through Burnt House Farm and up to the Pennine Way and then back down through Admergill to the Blacko Bar Road. If you are free to walk this route in whole or just a small part in either direction we’d be very grateful. If you can’t walk at 10am but can do this at any other time tomorrow that would be great. We might see nothing but we know he was in these areas so it is worth checking carefully here.
