So relieved to have him back safe. He had an awful start to his doggy life as a street dog in Crete and we thought he’d be safe and happy and grow old with all of us. All that was put into question over the last few days. He was so fortunate not to have been run over, he must have crossed a dual carriageway and train tracks so many times. Many thanks to everyone who helped find him xxx

Derek is now back home with his very happy and relieved family. Many thanks to everyone that helped over this nail-biting weekend. Derek will be grounded for the rest of his holiday!

Last reported sighting of Derek was at 3:40am in the Broadwater area on the Littlehampton Road, heading back towards Durrington/Goring/Ferring. Seems healthy but moving fast.

Just checking you’ve left scenting items near home? Could he get back into garden if he comes home at night? He sounds like he knows his way back hopefully he can do this when it’s quiet and hopefully people won’t chase him. Obviously kind people wish to help you but he has been spooked. Poor Derek. Paws crossed for him 🐾

He is still Wearing the blue harness and blue slip knot lead tied through the harness ring. Looks ok from last sighting today this afternoon, but very nervous and hard to approach.

Last seen today in a pick your own fruit farm in Ferring, could be making his way back to Cissbury road, Ferring area. Has made his way back home to this road once already but got couldn’t be caught by a neighbour.
