The postal area is incorrect.. Pembrokeshire is not SA7 I have asked Pat go lucky to put correct area code on profile .. 💥 - 2019-08-03 07:26 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Usually in these circumstances the rescue will just home check the new home but the adopters are reluctant to pass on the details of who they sold the dog on to. All easily resolved but weird of adopters to be hesitant in revealing who the gumtree buyers actually are.. personally Id ask local police to ask adopters to pass on the details and police ask but everyone is so busy, it’s of small priority to an already over stretched force. Take the adopters to civil court for breach of contract perhaps.

- Bobby hasn't been stolen by the purchaser but the rescue probably consider the 'adopter' stole him if he was sold on I suppose. A bit like when any dog is stolen and sold on the purchaser hasn't stolen them but the 'in between contact' is classed as having stolen them. Bit of a grey area I suppose and I totally understand where you are coming from. The law isn't always clear about these things and like you I wouldn't have classed Bobby as stolen either really. The main thing is he is safe so locating him is necessary and maybe the person who has him now would be a suitable owner. Who knows? These poor animals, you hear such awful tales so fingers crossed Bobby is just enjoying his jaunts xx

- Marbie I understand the donation given to rescue I used to be a trustee myself of a rescue and same policy applied there too .what I mean is that the adopter has sold Bobby for £60 to someone . He hasnt been stolen from adopter as such if sold .. obviously a breach of contract has now occurred due to this sale but still classes Bobby as missing not stolen as being suggested on posters .. x

- Jill a lot of rescues have a clause in their contract which says if you can no longer keep the animal in question you have to hand it back to the rescue. The money paid originally is a donation and not a sale. This is to ensure the future safety of the animal and is meant to provide backup in case things don't work out for the person and safety for the animal that it won't fall into the wrong hands. It's breaking their policies then to sell the dog on. A lot of these dogs have already had traumatic lives by the time they are even ready to leave a rescue. I hope Bobby is found safe xx

Think the postal area is wrong for Pembrokeshire area .it isnt SA7 x - 2019-08-03 00:08 Unknown
- Why is chip company flagging as stolen ? .if Bobby has been sold then surely should be flagged as missing unless Police are involved and a CRN given ..I have seen posters on fbk with Stolen status on there . Reading the post by rescue Bobby hasnt been stolen though if been sold .. x

- Did you buy this dog.
Maybe you know someone who has brought this dog.
Maybe they don't know it belongs to rescue.
It is chipped to the rescue .
It is also flagged as stolen by the chip company.
Please share and get Bobby back.
Thank you.
💥can you please check the postal area given as SA7 which isnt correct ..also chip number required please .Last edited: 2019-08-03 01:08:35
