So happy to say that Nelly was caught this afternoon after being spotted in Swakeleys Park and the River nearby. She happily came over to her doggy friend

Thanks for all your comments;
Nelly was seen on Long Lane Ickenham, then Warren Rd, nr Swakeleys Roundabout, along side of A40, London bound - on slip road for Hillingdon turn off.

Last sighting nr Milton Road, Ickenham, hoping that she is on her way back to Eleanor Grove where she escaped from relative

I was crossing the road at 11:20am - and saw the dog, I was the person who tried to catch Nelly but she was running too fast along Long Lane (away from the direction of the Coach and Horses). Nelly ran off down the road, at which point traffic started to slow as a large, silver vehicle (looked like a kind of people carrier ish) then put on their hazard lights to slow down the traffic. At which point Nelly also slowed down. They then turned a corner and I could no longer see whether the Silver vehicle was successful but maybe the Police can help with CCTV?

I've just read a report that a small black dog was walking down the M40 slip road toward the master brewer. This was at 1310hrsLast edited: 2019-08-03 16:09:30 by Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London

Latest post on Facebook:

I was driving down the high rd Ickenham near the coach and horses pub around 11.20am today and saw a small brown dog (possibly a cockapoo) running at top speed dodging traffic. A lady tried to grab it but couldn’t and then it ran into oncoming traffic and up Ickenham drive. Hoping someone managed to capture it but thought I’d post on here in case someone is still looking for it.
