Can you amend the listing to include the correct postal area LA 12 , nearest town as Ulverston, and the place last seen as Birkrigg Common. Thanks

This definitely sounds like the dog I’ve seen posted about as that was seen heading from Birkrigg to Scales, in which case lost area should be LA12 not LA23. Just want to make sure people are looking in the right area, I’m away at the moment otherwise I’d be out looking. I understand from FB that there’s also another dog (Jack Russell Terrier type) missing in the same area today, belonging to a different person.

Possible sighting at scales area, owner now looking in the area.

I can confirm post code prefix as correct, liasing with the owner, and looking at the national grid map, is the nearest postcode we could find, to help assess where the dog was lost. LA12 is the post code prefix for the owner, not where lost. Hope this helps.

I received an alert for this dog in LA12. Can you confirm missing area is correct please? I've seen some Facebook posts for a dog of this description spotted near Birkrigg Common, Ulverston LA12. LA23 is Windermere area approx 40 minutes drive away. If it is Birkrigg common I'd suggest sending alerts to postcodes LA15, LA16, LA13 & LA14Last edited: 2019-08-03 20:19:28 by ejm
