Thanks Ang for the update.  A big THANK YOU to the kind lady for taking the time to look after her.  Pippa will most probably sleep a lot and follow you round like a little shadow (but what a lovely shadow to have), give her an extra big hug and cuddle from us all.  Hope you now stay on DL as a helper in your area.  Posters working their magic.  Jan x

Seems there is another dog that looks like Pippa along the seafront, Pippa never left the field area she was found further up the road from the fields she was spotted in , she was exhausted walking along the road by the fields that a woman stoped her car and Pippa got in, she was given food and a bath by the woman and taken to the vets , she is ok just very , very , tired.I think putting up the amount of posters i did really helped i even put them in car parks on car windscreens , every local shop , and bus stops.We are all a very happy bunch here tonight may many other lost dogs on this site go in the blue.

More sightings last night ahd today-latest at the promenade- 8 friends and the dog warden out scouring the area as we speak.

3 Phone calls with in the space of half hour at 15.00 Pippa has left the field and has travelled some 4 miles towards the beach seen at Harbour Park  and onto the back streets.

Spoken to owner and pippa sighted again in same fields this morning but ran off. Have told the lady about keeping her voice calm and tempting the dog in with treats-she is taking her sisters duvet cover to the area to scent as well.

Angel557, these sightings sound very promising.  Sending you SCENTING INSTRUCTIONS and posters to hand out.  Great if she settles in one area.  It is important that she is not frightened causing her to leave the place she has been sighted, especially if it is a safe place for her to be.  Leave an article of clothing with your smell on and she may make a bed on it.  Ideally the farmer should just leave food for her and not try to catch her unless he gains her trust and she goes to him.  Fingers crossed she is in the blue soon.  Jan x

Phone call 21.00 Pippa seen in the fields opposite littlehampton Tesco had been in there all day farmer could not get close enough to her without her running off.
