Wonderful news, Am so happy for you. Stay very close now Muscat:-) Being an Indoor cat only he would have felt extremely anxious, being out of his comfort zone. As I said in one of my posts, Indoor cats usually hide close by. I would now give Musca lots of affection, and cuddles. Thanks for letting DL know how he was found. He seems far too pretty for a boy:-)

Thank you everyone! He was anxious and was trying to run away from us when we found him, but we managed to catch him. He's now at home safe.

When searching for Muscat, use the sane deodorant that you use on a day to basis a she will recognize the scent, And your the one he trusts. And/or take with you an Air Freshener that is used in the house regularly, as ti should remind him of his home comforts. Remember to check ALL outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars, THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within, especially if timid. Check trees; any decking too. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can squeeze into very small spaces (About 3" in diameter). Has he climbed into a party opened window, and is trapped? If all else fails, I would borrow cat trap from Cat Protection. (For a small donation, I think) Paws xd.

Indoor cats that "Escape" like this usually feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. They tend to hide close by or have adventures in a neighbours garden. A door he has access to, open wide and stand aside. Don`t block his entrance, or he may see it as a "Threat" and run off. Put some tuna or warm chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave it about 2 metres from the open door. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd,
