Hi, I live on outskirts of Ferryhill and tonight between 7p.m. and 8p.m. a brindle short haired what I thought was a greyhound but could of been a lurcher was right outside my door it was rummaging thru my rubbish and not bothered by my dogs barking. I was looking at it for sometime thru my window expecting someone to come walking along as I live near a footpath near a wood so not usual to see a dog on it's own, when I realised it was not with anyone and obviously hungry I went to go outside but it shot of heading towards the wood I knew it was lost so I went looking for it and put some meat out but I think it was well gone but if it is yours at least it give you some idea where to get some posters up. I didn't look to see if it was a boy or girl but it was a mature dog but looked well and definately brindle,  bonny face on her but I don't remember if her chest was white. the direction she or he went, would go towards west clornforth or bishop middleham  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Can we have a photo asap please. This dog has been missing for a couple of weeks now so we need to get postering soon. Owner please go and visit all rescue centres in your area just in case she has been handed in, inform the dog warden and send poster to all vets.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
