Text received with the best news. Thank you to all who helped search for Echo and shared her posts.

I just got a call from our house sitters. She Just walked in. Caked in mud and thin with a couple of patches of fur missing but seems fine!!!!!!!

I have updated the poster contact numbers as the owners are out of the country. The first number is now that of the person who is staying at the farm.

Thank you Sharon, that would have been on the day Echo went missing.

A comment on Echo's post in our naotional FB group says:
If anyone is local to the area - Matthew from the Royal Oak in Charmouth is saying he really thinks it was her he saw sat morning heading up the hill l. He thinks we need to look on the woods and cliffs to the left of the A35 towards Lyme.

Thank you for thinking of Echo Fizz but I think it is unlikely. I have had this email from the owner.

Unfortunately we are out of the country which is making this all the harder. We left the same day she went missing - Saturday. We have had our house visitors and others searching our land but as it’s 75 acres I don’t even know where these holes are she goes down! She just comes back covered in mud :(

Live in the village. Echo has been lost from a local farm. She does go walkabout on the farm, but always comes home. Possible sighting in the village early hours of Saturday morning. Heading in the general direction of home. Would need to cross the A35 though. Family is away on holiday and dog been left with house sitters. Shared on all of the local Facebook pages. Lots of dog walkers looking out for her.Last edited: 2019-08-13 14:44:24 by Michele

General advice emailed, asked for more information about the circumstances as this is a busy holiday village so we need to know if local and knows the area well or on holiday in Charmouth.
